Rice University Moody Center for the Arts
The Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University opened in 2017. The Moody, designed by renowned architect Michael Maltzan, is a platform for presenting arts of all disciplines, as well as a flexible teaching space for new ways of learning and collaborating.
The visual identity system takes inspiration from the building. It leverages the shape of the oculus as a device to frame and illuminate the everchanging experiences at play at the groundbreaking arts organization.
